Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Journal Lock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Transfer or sublicense your rights to use the App
  • Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the App ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences of creating or sharing it.

You agree not to create User Content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code or harmful content

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App may require a paid subscription. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Data Loss Disclaimer

While we implement industry-standard security measures, we cannot guarantee against data loss. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your data and enabling iCloud sync for additional protection.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may export your data before termination.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
